John Legend and Chrissy Teigen announce their pregnancy

A miscarriage almost two years ago led Chrissy Teigen to announce that she is expecting her third child with her husband, singer John Legend. In an Instagram post, the 36-year-old US model showed herself visibly pregnant, saying she felt "hopeful and amazing".

"Our home and hearts are filled with joy again," she said. After suffering complications and bleeding, she lost a baby named Jack in September 2020. Previously, Teigen said the miscarriage was "the worst pain I can ever imagine".

According to her, she and her husband were "shocked and in deep pain, the kind we've never experienced before". "Our home and hearts have been filled with joy again in the last few years," Teigen wrote on Instagram.

" After 1 billion shots we have another on the way. Every appointment I say if it's healthy today I'll announce it, but then I hear a heartbeat and decide I'm just too nervous. "I'm not sure I'll ever walk out of an appointment feeling more excited than nervous, but so far, everything has been perfect and beautiful, and I'm feeling hopeful and inspiring," she said.

They already have a daughter, Luna, who is six years old, and a son, Miles, who is four years old. Teigen wrote on Instagram in December 2020 that she was sad she would never be pregnant again - without clarifying why she felt that way.
