'Something New Everyday': Travis Barker shares video of himself learning to wakesurf
A new adventure awaits Travis Barker this summer! On Wednesday, Blink-182 drummer Pat Travers uploaded a video to his Instagram account of himself wakesurfing - a sport similar to wakeboarding without a rope or bindings on the board - captioning it, "Learn something new every day." Despite his recent success, Barker, 46, did not keep his balance, falling into the water after a successful run behind the boat. Voices cheered him on in the background as he rode the waves beyond the boat.
He also posted a video over the weekend showing him zip-lining in a green forest. "Used to be afraid of heights," Barker captioned it. A picture of his wife Kourtney Kardashian hanging out on a boat with a view of the water and mountains was posted on social media that same day. According to the caption, she showed off over-the-elbow swim gloves from sister Kim Kardashian's SKIMS collection.
The Poosh founder and Barker had a beautiful ceremony in May in Portofino, Italy, and are spending their first summer together. Despite being hospitalized in late June for "life-threatening" pancreatitis - inflammation of the organ that aids digestion and regulates blood sugar - Barker returned to the stage last month in his first public performance. Kardashian and her husband attended the concert to support Machine Gun Kelly's Mainstream Sellout Tour at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Having been photographed outside his Calabasas, California recording studio, he has posted an Instagram update that he is doing well.
