The second marriage of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

The two A-listers previously got married in Las Vegas in mid-July, but they made the ceremony official again in front of friends and family at Affleck's waterfront property in Georgia's southeastern region.

People magazine reported Affleck's longtime pal Matt Damon and director Kevin Smith attended the three-day event, which was attended by a slew of high-profile Hollywood types. According to Fox News, Lopez has worn a Ralph Lauren dress made in Italy while guests wore all white.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ posted pictures ahead of the wedding showing the seating arrangement for the wedding dinner being set up on what appeared to be a large, covered dock, and a substantial barge floating nearby for use in the pyrotechnics display.

A pair of 50-year-old men and 53-year-old women, who met on the set of the controversial movie Gigli in 2002, say they have always been friends.

Their relationship became a media sensation while they dated, but postponed their planned wedding in 2003, then announced their separation in early 2004, only for their relationship to be over again later on.

When photos began circulating that showed Lopez and Affleck together again last year, fans were ready to be blown away as "Bennifer" - the couple's public nickname from their first highly publicized relationship - began sweeping the internet. The couple announced their engagement in April of this year.

According to US media reports, Lopez sent out a video of herself showing her emotion while admiring a green ring in a newsletter called "On The JLo."

The ring was an emerald-cut pale green diamond, the media reported. There have been four marriages between Lopez and Affleck, and it will be the second for him. Lopez discussed her renewed relationship with Affleck in an interview with People in February. "It's just a beautiful story that we got a second chance at love," she said.
