Adam Weir disappeared from Renovation Island. What happened to him
Fans of HGTV's "Renovation Island" have been loyal to the show since it premiered in 2020, and they are thrilled to have been able to see contractor Bryan Baeumler and his wife, designer Sarah Baeumler, transform an abandoned 10-acre property into a world-class island oasis filled with 18 luxurious hotel rooms, 22 ocean front villas and a host of resort amenities, according to Discovery Channel.
The Baeumlers were not able to do everything themselves, so they enlisted the help of their project manager, Adam Weir, who had previously worked with the couple since the first episode of their show, "House of Bryan," aired in 2010. Despite that, Adam never envisioned himself becoming a builder.
Adam Baeumler first met Bryan Baeumler while working at a camp in Canada after he had worked a series of jobs, including performing magic on a cruise ship and teaching wakeboarding. Upon the expiration of his contract, Adam was offered a position by Bieumler Quality Construction.
In his writing for the Toronto Star, Adam wrote, "I am very thankful for Bryan's support and more importantly for giving me this opportunity." "However, I didn't know what I was in for. I had no idea it would be such a tough job. Construction is one of the toughest jobs I've ever had. The hours are long, the environment is dirty, and it's dusty just about all the time. But on a positive note, you get your fitness routine in."
The Baeumler family and Adam became close over the years, and Adam was a production manager for the hit series "Renovation Island." So it came as a surprise to fans when Adam left after seasons 2 and 3 when he wasn't returning. The former "Renovation Island" cast member wasn't returning for the third season because he didn't want to live in the Bahamas any longer.
According to Distractify, Bryan explained in the season's second episode, "Adam has found a great girlfriend and wants to stay in Canada for a while and forge his path a little bit. I am going to miss him, so I hope we can have him visit for a while."
According to Hollywood Mask, Adam often posts photos of himself and his girlfriend, Brittany Lynn Murphy, on social media. During a recent trip to Disney World, weir documented the trip on his Instagram page, along with his wife and two daughters.
Based on an Instagram post, Adam became a licensed real estate professional after leaving "Renovation Island." The Baeumlers are still close to Adam Weir, even though he is no longer on "Renovation Island." Sarah explained, via Distractify, that Adam is part of the family. As we say, he is our fifth child, so I think he will remain a part of our lives in some capacity for the rest of my life."
The Baeumlers have continued to work with Adam despite Adam's joke that he would not pick up the phone if Bryan called. He gave presentations on the construction industry at the 2022 Ottawa Home & Remodeling Show and the Toronto National Home Show.
He made his appearances as a guest of Baeumler Approved, an organization that helps Canadians find reputable contractors, tradesmen, and home service providers. In addition to being an owner of EZ Dock Kawartha, Adam is also the Chief Marketing Officer at Generational Wealth Properties. Adam has kept himself busy despite not being on television.
